Elizabeth Harris' son Cody was eleven when, out of the blue, he started exhibiting signs of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The OCD turned into something far more sinister when Cody started having episodes where he seemed to lose total control over his actions, leading to Cody being committed to a county youth detention centre. There, he was placed in solitary confinement for weeks. For five years, Elizabeth fought a hard battle to find out what was going on with her son and their family while simultaneously battling an unsympathetic judicial system.

Her book, 'What's Wrong with My Child?' reveals a mother's quest for answers about her son's psych symptoms that leads to shocking discoveries that could impact struggling families in the United States and possibly globally.
