I believe Anthony Hopkins and Bill Skarsgard did fantastic acting, and I adore this film. Anthony is a master at playing the bad guy. In my opinion, this is the film for you if you enjoy seeing survival and real-life scenarios, and you're a fan of either or both performers. I appreciate how it demonstrates the extent to which a person will go to survive. It's about realizing that our acts can have serious repercussions and growing from them. Bill's persona endured all of this. He did a great job portraying a villain and a victim with Anthony. Eddie had made some bad choices, but he had grown from them.

Despite having a lot of potential, the plot arc was not carried out to its full potential. The extraterrestrial reveal was neither spectacular nor well-presented, and other sequences just didn't make sense or seem to belong. The excessive number of fast cuts in the poor editing diminished the scenario. I don't want to disclose anything, but I disagree with another review that said the acting wasn't as horrible as they said. In my opinion, Eiza's portrayal of the character's circumstances and journey was adequate given what she was going through.

In his feature debut, Opus, writer/director Mark Anthony Green uses his experience as a former GQ editor to critique everything from the condition of journalism to celebrity culture. John Malkovich's contagious camp role as pop star Moretti and Ayo Edebiri's innate charm skillfully carry the picture on their shoulders, but it cannot support the slow, poorly drawn, and largely empty satire that largely fails to convey the horror.

Bring Them Down is a dramatic and highly emotional picture that captivates from start to finish. The tale is gloomy and fascinating, with a great premise that keeps you involved. The acting is excellent, with Paul Ready giving a solid portrayal. However, Christopher Abbott stood out the most. His depiction was realistic, and the fact that he is an American who speaks Gaelic so naturally was particularly striking. His acting gave an extra element of reality to the picture, making it even more engaging.

Another mistake is the unicorn, which is essential to the movie's plot. The design is clumsy and uninspiring, shown as a large computer-generated image that more closely resembles a bear than a horse. It was cleverly left out of the trailer, and the movie's reveal demonstrates why. The "Unicorn Tapestries" from The Cloisters in New York, which the movie attempts to incorporate into its mythology, are not even enough to increase the creature's mystery or effect. 

 

Death of a Unicorn is ultimately a drab and disappointing film. It lacks a distinct character and voice of its own since it makes an excessive effort to conform to the A24 model. There aren't enough jokes or scares, and the societal critique is harsh.
