Reflection/Discussion Questions
.) Pastor Jim suggested today that our "beliefs dictate our behaviors". Do you agree? Why or why not?
.) If repentance is a change of mind that leads to a change of heart that leads to a change of behavior, why is it so important to get "beneath the surface" of our sin? Or, to put it another way, to pull up the "roots" of particular sin habit?
.) Why is this process so difficult to do at times?
.) Who is someone in your life that might be able to help walk alongside you in discerning what are the root sins, idols of heart, and lies of the enemy/flesh that you "put off" in order to "put on" the corresponding core virtues, true worship and the truth of God's Word?
