We continue to look at what it looks like to be the church. We look at Romans 12:9-21 as our source of what love in action looks like among disciples in relationship together.

We are doing a deep dive into what it means to be Christ's Apprentice (or disciple) and to be a part of the Church.

This looks like Love in Action which we see in Romans 12:9-21

This idea was inspired by Dallas Willard and his book called "Renovation of the Heart", specifically Chapter 10: Transforming the Social Dimension

At the beginning of a new year is a great time to remind us of what is the most important.

We see a few Scripture verses being used in the new year, such as 2 Corinthians 5:17 - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!"

What a great verse! It is also very important that we look at what led Paul to write this in his letter. So buckle up for a super quick overview of 2 Corinthians.

We are each giving a passion inside our life. Where we aim those desires are important. We need to focus them towards God. In that focusing we must remember that we have to respect and serve others in our passion.

We continue our look at the paradox of the Kingdom of God.

Then we ask God to help us answer the question: What choice do you need me to make?

Have you ever noticed that life is full of paradox?

What is paradox:

a statement that seems self-contradictory or absurd but in reality expresses a truth.

Jesus Kingdom is full of paradox.

Let's look at a bunch of scripture to see this being played out in life.

The Bible, and specifically the Psalms, talks about the "enemy" a lot. We take some time to look at, and ask the question "Who is the enemy?"

Did you know that at least 40% of the actions we take are not the result of choice, but of habit?

Jesus tells us in the Sermon on the Mount that to be wise we must take His words and put them into ACTION!

We talk about the content and habits of our lives and the intention it takes to be more like Jesus.

In the last episode we were in Jeremiah 29 and we didn't get to the well known verse: "For I know the plans I have for you..."

We take a few minutes to look at what it means!

To wrap up our series on the Theology of Multiplication we take a quick journey to a letter written by the prophet Jeremiah. He was writing to some exiles that were in waiting. We can learn that multiplication was there, so it should be there for us too.
