supa-el is a mode for editing levels of a classic DOS game from the 90's called Supaplex, in Emacs.

I talk about my motivation, the process of discovering Emacs features of which a lot surprisingly are a perfect fit for the task, and I hope that it can be inspiring for others who may feel intimidated by the learning curve of Emacs Lisp.
