We start this episode with a review of Antoine Fuqua and Will Smith's "Emancipation" (1:31), Guillermo Del Toro's "Pinocchio" (14:55), and Brendan Fraser's talk of the town performance with "The Whale" (30:19). We also discuss Park Chan-wook's "Decision to Leave" (46:16), Alejandro Iñárritu's "Bardo, False Chronicles of a Handful of Truth's" (57:49), and the new action Christmas film starring David Harbour "Violent Night" (1:12:02). The Game Awards (1:22:53) also went down last week and we talk briefly about the battle between "God of War: Ragnarok" and "Elden Ring" among other award winners and news that game out of the award show. The news item of the week includes the drama over at DC Studios (1:40:43) regarding the cancellation of the Wonder Woman sequel and potentially several other projects as James Gunn and Peter Safran move forward.
