Ember Church Sunday Sermon

God brings our look at what happened when the angels appeared to its highest height on this, the Sunday before Christmas! Come feel what it feels to be filled with joy everlasting! How beautiful is our Lord!!! How amazing what He does for and in us!!!! Merry Christmas indeed!!!

It is common, even amongst Christians to think that the issue between God and us is sin. But while there is an issue there, it is not even remotely what His heart, His will, is for us. Come experience the second gift that God is giving to us this Christmas season! You will come to know what an astoundingly glorious God He truly is!!!!!! Merry Christmas!!!!

When the angels gloriously proclaimed to the shepherds what was happening with Jesus’ birth, they said, in part, “peace on earth.” What does that really mean? Well, the most incredible truth: you never have to be scared in any way about your relationship with Him!!!! (Truth be told, you never have to ever be fearful of anything ever again!!!) Come enjoy this beautiful, hopeful, encouraging Christmas gift this Sunday!

This Sunday we’ll be looking at biblical responses at the FIRST Christmas and their application to us

What is the role of forgiveness in our lives? How important is it? Does it make any difference? This Sunday, we’re looking at God’s Word about the power of forgiveness.

Last week we looked at how critical it is to get perspective. What happens, however, when there are two completely different perspectives? This is what is happening in our world today. Come experience how easy it is to shift from one to the other, and how critical it is that we line up with God!

I just got a ski jacket with a ridiculously high collar cuff. So high if the coat is zipped all the way up, it's almost impossible to look straight down and see what's right in front of me. You would think that would be a bad coat for skiing. But, if you look straight down when you're skiing you don't see where you’re going and so run into trees. If, however, you keep your head up, and look well down the slope, searching even for where you’re going that you can’t see yet, then you ski really well. That's how our walk with God is. Come experience hope and peace in these troubling times by seeing where God is taking us!

Why do some people seem to have a closer relationship with God than others? Justine is helping us dig in Luke 24 to consider what could be helping or holding us back from genuinely connecting with Yahweh.

Has God’s place fallen on your priority list? Come learn how putting Him first can make all the difference-both in your own life and in the lives of others

note, we are going to do a very cool, extremely important family thing this Sunday. If ever you attend Sunday morning, this is one where we need you to be there this weekend. Literally, a group experience that just won’t be nearly the same on Streaming. Since this is so much a Lake Sammer thing, not the Sunday to bring a guest. They will likely like it, since it will be so powerful, but still, a family moment.
