In this episode, I am joined by Nuria Reed to explore embodiment-focused decolonization work from her perspective as a white-bodied practitioner with European lineage.
We delve into the power of this work in fostering a sense of deep belonging - whether it’s with the natural world, with each other, or inside themselves.
She explains the concept of Embodied Ancestral Awakening, shedding light on its important role in trauma healing. By becoming more rooted and secure in our own identities, we can forge more compassionate and connected relationships with each other, our work as practitioners, and the world.
Nuria is a certified sex coach, anthropology enthusiast, animist practitioner, and professional in transformation and liberation. Her approach is trauma-informed somatic-based coaching specifically for sexuality, spiritual awakening, and ancestral healing and her philosophy is planted in the reclaimed animist traditions of her ancestors and the Tantra of her yogic lineage. With 10,000 hours of teaching and training experience and two decades of transformative personal work, Nuria lives, breathes, and embodies liberation through pleasure.
