Tell us what you like about our show and share your Bad work stories so we can help. Thanks Emma & Corina

Emma and Corina are on a mission to stop bad work stories.

Embrace Equity is the theme of this year's International Women's Day. To help us explore this, we are excited to welcome Sarah Nodarse, PHD, our first guest on BWSMG.

Sarah is a Cultural Anthropologist and Practitioner in the field of Diversity and Inclusion in the US.

Join Corina and Sarah as they discuss the continuing bad work story of the lack of black women and women of color in senior leadership positions and what we really mean by equity.

Sarah is very direct on this subject, so buckle up, and let's learn.

Points covered:

  • The difference between equality and equity.
  • Why does equity trigger many of us?
  • The lack of black women and women of color in senior leadership continues to be a bad story after all the D&I work focus of recent times.
  • Practical strategies through 3 lenses - the personal, the interpersonal, and the systemic.
  • Building a culture of openness, respect, understanding, care, and learning can fuel a better future for everyone.
