Mission Trip Journaling Day #6

I had to be faced once again with the reality of my brokenhumanity,

To be fully conscious & aware that all the weight &responsibility rests on your Holy Divinity.

I had to have one last dance with the darkness,

To Value & appreciate the clarity of the light.

I had to force my human strength to its limits,

To acknowledge the limitless power of your Spirit.

With sorrow, but always with grace,

You allowed me to chase after my Idols,

To let me really experience the validity of the one and onlytrue God!

But even in the midst of me choosing the wrong chase,

You always covered me with your Mercy & Grace,

Not because of my worthiness,

But because of your Reckless, Uncomprehensible, EverlastingLove!

Which worked through my Flaws,

Broke all my structures & all the Law,

Father, I now stand in your Presence,

With gratitude & full of awe.

Father, your goodness to me surely doesn't make sense,

Your hand working through me at the moment, I could notcomprehend,

But now bearing truth your Holy Spirit you've sent,

Open to fully receive your Love & Mercy now, I stand.

And even though I might still not fully understand,

I Embrace Grace,

And let go of all my Shame!
