Today in the Muster Room we have Marine Corp Veteran and current Suffolk County Police Officer Matias Ferreira. From serving our country on the Afghanistan battlefield to protecting the residents of Suffolk County, Matias has overcome the loss of both of his legs to become the first double amputee Police Officer in the United States. Matias is a role model for disabled youth across the country and works with veterans in similar situations to himself.
