For this episode, I talked about a post I saw on social media. The post stated that women were stupid for keeping a baby when the man doesn't want it. I talk about how this statement is stupid and how we should hold men accountable for their actions. In addition to this topic, I offered encouragement to my single mother's. Just because you're a single mom in this season, doesn't mean you don't rock! Women have all the power within themselves to be great, so tune out the negativity and continue to be the dope mother you are. In this episode Ashley and I talk about her journey of fitness, what she does for a living, and how she loves helping people. We talk about the challenges people face when it comes to working out and eating right, and we both agree that no one is perfect at making the healthy choices all the time. However, it's about doing better each day and learning what works best for you. I thrive in a classroom/routine setting. Whereas, she thrives when she is working out alone or with one another person. This fitness and healthy eating journey isn't a race, it's a marathon. You should always go at your own pace and don't focus on what anyone else is doing. In addition to our fitness and health chat, we talked about Ashley other business venture. She is a Pure Romance Coach and has learned so much about herself since being in this business. This episode is about recapping 2019 and giving you all encouragement to keep going. 2019 may or may not of had went as planned, but be excited about the new year. Get excited about endless opportunities! I share a snippet of some of my accomplishments this year and talk a little bit about some of the traveling I did with my child. In addition to that, I had to accept some hard truths about motherhood this year. Being a mom is no easy journey, especially a singe mother. However, there is beauty in the journey. Never let your circumstances determine where you're going, and always remember to put "you" first. You cannot pour from an empty coup, remember that. We're super excited for the new year and to be embarking on this journey with you all! We hope you have an amazing holiday and be safe out here.
