Opening your heart demands you to be vulnerable. Not for fear of being hurt by others as society would like you to believe, but for the learning opportunity to grow, expand, build endurance, resiliency, courage and so much self-love. Throughout such intense waves of energy, you eventually learn to discover your truest self, simply because you have allowed yourself to welcome and feel all vulnerabilities which have come to open the door to your heart.

Owning your voice is a challenge, whether you are someone that speaks up or not at all. You could speak up to protect yourself from the past fears of being hurt, as much as you wouldn’t speak for similar reasons. However, when you do, do you ever ask yourself, if it is truly you? One way to find out, ask yourself, is it stemming fully from your own heart? Your voice matters, let it speak!

In a world filled with expectations, we often too easily become people-pleasers without even knowing we are. The reality of it all, we are simply asking to be heard, valued, loved and accepted; however somewhere, somehow, along the way…we never learned how.
