On this week’s show, Kristy Yelle of Palmetto Protection Films brought a ton of great information for those in business and leadership. As a owner, along with her husband Matt, of the very successful Palmetto Protection Films, it was really interesting to see how they grew the business so impressively in a relatively quick time.

She shared the life of a business owner and the process she goes through in dealing with the challenges of running and growing a company. She talked about how all businesses will have growing pains that have to be adapted to quickly, but that the customer’s should have an enjoyable experience throughout the process. We enjoyed her examples of how she could be in the middle of a very difficult task and still brings the A+ customer service as soon as she answers the phone.

In this process of creating excellent customer service, Kristy talked about finding and training employees that understand the culture and values of the business. She also talked about how having operating procedures is a key to a growing business including how much books such as “Profit First” and “Traction” have helped her business.
