Embracing Every Mess

On this week's episode, we interview STEM expert, author, and educational coach, Jorge Valenzuela. He gives us the inside scoop on his career beginnings and how he went on to become his own boss! 

We are back with another episode covering many of the trending topics such as the continued #BlackLivesMatter movement, celebrating LGBTQIA month. This week, we dive deeper into what is means to truly be a Black man in America, especially in the field of education with our guest, Van Phillips. He gets candidate on what it means to "refine the black man" and the many stereotypes we face on a day basis! 

This week we have the phenomenal, Korey Collins of the Ron Clark Academy, as he joins us for an intimate conversation about race, education, and moving forward from the rent events concerning America. 

With the current events going on in the world, we decided to film a special episode that features two very special guests. We discuss our what is happening in America through the eyes of four African American male educators and how we may be able to move forward from these tragedies. 

This week on "Embracing Every Mess", we tackle the importance of having a true, genuine friendship circle, toxic people and respecting boundaries! We tackle the "mess" that comes with forming relationships and being that support system for those that we love. 

This week we cover the topic of Mental Health, in honor of #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth with a special guest, Elle Greene!  Take a listen as we dive into the balance of work life and home, adjusting to the quarantine, and what may happen when/if we do return back to school in the Fall!
