This week on Conflict Managed we are joined by Dr. Sean Walker, Professor of Management in the Department of Management, Marketing, and Information Systems in the College of Business and Global Affairs at The University of Tennessee at Martin.

Dr. Sean Walker has served various roles at UT Martin and across the UT System including: interim department chair, Faculty Senate President, Chair of the UT System’s University Faculty Council (UFC), UT Martin Campus Representative to the UFC, and the UT System-wide Faculty Representative to the University of Tennessee’s Board of Trustees: Education, Research, and Service Committee. He obtained both his MBA and PhD at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Dr. Walker’s research interest, and primary teaching areas, assess the impact of psychological phenomenon on Human Resources and Organizational Behavior. Dr. Walker is also a Licensed Minister and Mediator, both of which provide him with training to educate students, colleagues, and external agents on how to reach mutually acceptable agreements when faced with conflict within the organization.
