I am joined today by my straight talking friend and more recently, new mum, Leah Christou. This is an episode aimed at those currently planning a family, mums to be or new mums like Leah. She doesn't hold back as she shares what this new chapter in her life has been like and how despite embracing motherhood- how at times, it also came with its very own quarter life crisis!

This week’s episode was inspired by my recent trip to Phuket, Thailand. Four years ago, I left the world as I knew it then and my home in England for a completely new one – moving to Doha, Qatar. The decision to pack your life up, take the plunge and leave isn’t an easy one. Despite having so many benefits, the initial upheaval is possibly one that often arises mid quarterlife crisis when the need for proactive change is imminent. Listen in as I reveal my take on making this mammoth move and hear from like-minded individuals in Thailand who were kind enough to share their stories.

Take a quick trip down memory lane with me; I want you to remember the time prior to mass social media whereby personal interaction, calls and the odd chat on msn were our main tools of communication. In creating a world where we have each other at our fingertips, why does the use of social networks such as facebook, Instagram and Snapchat not necessarily bring us closer together? In fact, more often than not, it brings out the worst in us. In episode four, I observe, analyse and explore the psychology behind it!
