  • Episode 82-It’s Time To Talk To Your Kids About Porn with Greta Eskridge

Porn is targeting your kids—and most parents don’t realize how early it starts. Research shows the average age of first exposure is just 11–13, with some kids seeing it as young as 9. In this episode, Greta Eskridge—author, podcaster, speaker, and homeschooling mom of four—joins Paige Clingenpeel for a candid conversation about protecting kids from porn. Greta shares her own story of healing after her husband’s porn addiction and affair, and why she’s passionate about helping families have this conversation early. They discuss how to talk proactively, age-appropriately, and without fear. If you’re unsure where to start, this episode offers both clarity and encouragement.

    Paige’s Takeaways

    • Create a Digital Safety Plan
      • Kids are growing up in a completely different world than we did. Having a plan sets clear boundaries and helps them feel safe coming to you.

    • Keep Conversations Short & Ongoing
      • Think of it as planting seeds over time, not a one-time talk.

    • Talk Honestly About Temptation
      • Help them understand natural body responses, the pull of temptation, and God’s design for our bodies and spirits.

    • Disciple, Don’t Just Monitor
      • Walk with your kids spiritually, not just behaviorally.

    • Be Honest About Your Own Struggles
      • Vulnerability builds trust.

    • Be a Safe Place
      • Above all, let your kids know they can always come to you—without shame or fear.

  • Episode 78-Surrender in Motherhood with Paige Clingenpeel

Mama, have you ever believed the lie that your child’s behavior defines you? Or felt like you’re the only one struggling while everyone else has it all together? In this episode, Paige exposes four common lies moms face in parenting—lies that steal our joy and keep us stuck in shame and comparison.

We’ll talk about the difference between discipline and discipleship, control and surrender, ownership and stewardship. God didn’t call us to be perfect—He called us to be faithful. Let’s tear down these lies and walk in freedom as the moms He created us to be.

Ready to breathe again? Let’s go there together.

    Paige’s Takeaways

    • Lie #1: Our kids’ behavior directly reflects us as their parents.
      • We don’t have to teach kids what not to do because of our sin nature, but instead, we need to teach them what to do. This is discipleship.
    • Lie #2: Everyone else has it all together, I am the only one who struggles.
      • Social media does not show what is real.
      • But Jesus tells us to be counter-cultural and radical. We know we are sinners and will struggle, but He is faithful and just.
      • We have to surrender to authenticity and model how we go through struggles for our kids.
    • Lie #3: Micromanaging will produce results.
      • We tend to discipline our children more than disciple.
      • Rules and structure are love.
      • Parents, are we praying before disciplining?
      • Surrender control to the Lord.
    • Lie #4: Our children belong to us.
      • There is a difference between responsibility and ownership.
      • God gives our kids to us so we can raise them up and they can declare His glory.
      • We have to surrender ownership - not only of our children but of our own lives.
      • We are not alone in our parenting. God says, ‘Come to me.’

  • Episode 77-Raising Kids in a Technology Driven World with Paige Clingenpeel

How do we raise the next generation with health, wisdom, empowerment, and encouragement in a world increasingly shaped by technology? In this episode, Paige shares her TEDx Talk and offers insights on how technology is transforming teen behavior—impacting their brains, communication, and connection. How do we ensure our kids feel loved, safe, and purposeful in this digital age? Our children are the future leaders of this world. It’s up to us to guide, equip, and love them well.

    Paige’s Takeaways

The three core needs of our kids:

    • To be LOVED
      • Love looks like boundaries and structure
      • Love does not look like indulgence and giving your kids everything you never had
      • Discipline (teaching) is love
    • To be SAFE
      • It’s okay to make mistakes because it will add to our kids success
    • To have PURPOSE
      • We are all gifted with personality, strength, and weaknesses. We need to start embracing those and sharing those.
      • Encourage your kids, equip them, tell them they have purpose.

  • Episode 76-Life is Messy, God is Good with guest Cynthia Yanof

It’s easy for us to drown in the messy problems we’re facing each day, but if we stop and remember where God has shown up for us before, we may discover that laughter and even joy are hiding in the mud. Today, Paige welcomes Cynthia Yanof. Cynthia is a wife, mother, podcast host of the show MESSmerized, blogger, and author of Life is Messy God is Good - the topic of today’s episode. Cynthia looks at life and all its hardships with the deep understanding that God is sovereign AND He is good - and that if we take the time to look back at all the ways He has come through for us before (especially in ways we didn't expect), we can move through life’s difficulties with a little less heaviness on our shoulders and a little more laughter in our hearts.

    Paige’s Takeaways

    • Value the quality of your friendships, not the quantity. Cherish the ones who point you back to Jesus.
    • Stones of Remembrance: Remember where God has been in your life! Write down what God is doing in this moment and season, so you can stand against the seasons of despair where the enemy will want to come in and lie to you!
    • Give “Easy Yeses” wherever you can! Let your kids have some (safe) autonomy. Allow them easy yeses so that they can learn, grow, and gain confidence.

  • Episode 75-Spiritual Experiences vs a Deep Relationship with Jesus with guest Jay Lowder

*Trigger Warning* This episode contains adult themes, specifically centered around suicide. Listener discretion is advised.

Today, Paige welcomes Jay Lowder. Called to full-time evangelism in 1989, Jay is the founder of Jay Lowder Harvest Ministries, an organization dedicated to reaching diverse groups of people with the message of Jesus Christ. Through his ministry, he travels the globe to football stadiums, schools, churches, and coliseums to provide a message of hope to the hurting. Jay developed the nationally acclaimed school assembly Crossroads, which has been presented to 2 million students nationwide. Jay shares his incredibly powerful testimony and challenges us that a “spiritual experience”, while potentially a catalyst for faith, isn’t a deep relationship with Jesus - that requires intention, dedication, reading His word, and living out the truth that Jesus is Lord and Savior in your life, every day.

    Paige’s Takeaways

    • Trust that God is with you and that He has you (and your kids).
      • This doesn’t come quickly or necessarily naturally. This takes time in His Word, in prayer, in community with those who have walked with Him longer. Model this to your kids and provide counsel and support so they can grow in their own relationship with Him.
    • Don’t pray away the Goliaths for your kids.
      • As much as we want a smooth and happy life for them, we sometimes have to let them make their own decisions (good and bad) so they learn and build their foundation of faith and trust in Jesus.
    • Let them see the real Christ in your life.
      • What does your life with Jesus look like in the day-to-day? Are you modeling Christlike behaviors to your kids? Do they see you reading your Bible and praying? Are you showing your kids that Jesus is priority #1 in your life?
    • Pray for your kids!
      • We can rest in the knowledge that God hears our prayers and loves our children more than we can.

  • Episode 74-It’s OK to Not be OK: Facing our Trauma as Adults with Producer Mike Segovia

The effects of trauma can show up in weird ways throughout our lives. Maybe a certain song takes you back to when you were 12 and your parents told you they were getting a divorce, maybe there’s a smell that takes you back to your first love and first real heartbreak, or maybe, like Paige shares in todays episode, it’s watching your son break his arm and feeling utterly helpless to fix his pain. We’ve all experienced trauma in our lives and, when left unresolved - pushed down, hidden beneath distractions, masked with lies of being “fine” - it can rear its head with no warning. In this episode, Paige and producer Mike share with raw honesty some of their own traumatic experiences and encourage listeners that wherever you stand with your trauma, you can move through it towards hope and healing.

  • Episode 73-Little Hands, Big Hearts: Modeling a Missional Mindset in our Kids With Matt Arnett

Today, Paige welcomes Matt Arnett, the Community Pastor and Director of Business on Mission & Church on Mission for The Bucket Ministry, a nonprofit organization that works to provide the love of Jesus and clean water solutions to communities in need around the world. He is also a committed husband and father with a strong heart for engaging children in missions, believing they are not just recipients of ministry, but active participants in God’s work. This is such a beautiful conversation full of reminders that we as parents have the incredible privilege of discipling our children and empowering them to go out into the world to be a light for Jesus.

    Paige’s Takeaways

    • Asking: What is my daily mission?
      • I believe that we have been made on purpose, for a purpose. How are we talking to our kids about their purpose every day? How can they be the best friend they can be? How can they be the best team member? How can they be the best follower of Jesus?
    • Helping our kids identify what makes them unique
      • When we ask our kids about what they love to do, we can encourage them to be a light in those arenas. Maybe your kid enjoys video games - how can they be a light and build community in that area? Perhaps they are a gifted athlete - how can they show Jesus through their actions on the team?
