Emergency Contact The Podcast

In this week's episode "Oh, YOU'RE Julia!" find out what happens when one of us meets our special guest (Julia Atwood) for the first time in a studio at Ripley Grier (it's a building of rehearsal studios for our "non-biz" listeners). Turns out, nothing provides a better background than Ripley Grier to discuss Self Worth, our ever favorite topic of Self Care, and what “you are not your job” means to us.

Every season we at The Biz allow ourselves one “Cheat” episode, in which we are allowed to talk about the *beep boop* biz with our guest because of their essential role in it. We do just that with actress/producer/writer/badass Caitlin Morris. We talk about creating the work you want to see, “having your shit together,” and just which Backstreet boy is looking the best these days.

In episode 6 Matt and Amanda are joined by the ever wise Eli Pauley to discuss sex positivity, sexual empowerment, and how the heck we we all learned about the birds and the bees.

"The Biz" Podcast Ep 4: "Everybody's got thumbs" (Maggie Wilder) by Emergency Contact- A podcast hosted by Amanda Mason and Matt Ketai

In Episode 3 of “The Biz”: “Gayle?! You don’t know who GAYLE is?!?” we welcome our first guest, none other than gay-culture icon Molly Herzog! Join us as we cover a lot of ground about race, sexual identity, stress, drag queens, and of course, Oprah.

In episode two of “The Biz,” Matt and Amanda explore the joys of Garage Band (thus improving the sound!) and brevity (kept it to 30 minutes, y’all!). Join the two ex-roomies as they discuss their ever favorite topic of Matt’s asthma, what it means to make friends, and their surprise homework assignments for each other!
