The Ministry of Power has finally clarified that Electric Vehicle (EV) charging is a service and not a resale of electricity. The Dept. of Heavy Industries has amended the charging infrastructure note permitting private charging infrastructure providers to opt for other standards in addition to Bharat Charger.
