Björk - Army Of Me (Emi Galvan Remix)Release Info:Our latest free download welcomes Emi Galvan back for a much-anticipated rework of Björk’s timeless classic ‘Army Of Me’. Originally released in 1995 as part of the Icelandic artist’s landmark album Post, the track quickly became one of her most recognizable works, praised for its industrial edge and powerful vocal delivery. Nearly three decades later, ‘Army Of Me’ continues to resonate with audiences worldwide, making it a natural choice for reinterpretation on today’s progressive stage.Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvan has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. Through the success of early tracks like 2016's ‘Taking Over’ and ‘Universe’, the Buenos Aires resident emerged into one of the progressive scene’s most promising talents. A rich musical background with time spent in rock bands playing guitar and singing gave Emi’s electronic compositions a measurable creative edge. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career-defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Also an accomplished DJ, Emi’s long undulating sets have seen him delight crowds across the globe, with his unique blend of melody and rhythm placing him amongst Argentina’s most in-demand electronic artists.Tested extensively in his own sets over recent months, Emi’s remix of ‘Army Of Me’ has already been supported by Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Sebastien Leger, Eli Nissan and Henry Saiz among others. Staying true to the haunting intensity of the original while reimagining it for today’s dance floors, the Argentine’s version strikes a perfect balance between nostalgia and innovation. As one of the most requested IDs from his live performances this year, we’re thrilled to now offer Emi Galvan’s interpretation of Björk’s ‘Army Of Me’ as an exclusive free download. Enjoy.7 min

Underworld - Dark & Long (D-Nox & Emi Galvan Remix)Release Info:Our final free download of the year finds Emi Galvan and D-Nox joining forces for a much-anticipated rework of Underworld’s ‘Dark & Long’. Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvin has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Meanwhile, hailing from Germany but now based in Brazil, D-Nox has continued to thrill fans with both cutting edge music and enlightening DJ sets. Whether operating in solo capacity or as one half of D-Nox and Beckers, the German artist lays claim to an impressive resume, highlighted by releases on Bedrock, Einmusika, Sudbeat and his own Sprout imprint. Having previously worked together for Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank imprint, Emi and D-Nox also took to re-imagining Underworld’s ‘Dark & Long’ earlier this year. Now over thirty years old, the Original version was the lead track on the British band’s third and most critically acclaimed album ‘dubnobasswithmyheadman’. As a favourite of Sasha, Digweed and a host of other A-list DJs, there are few productions which have stood the test of time in a more enduring fashion. Ending the year on high note, we’re thrilled to offer Emi and D-Nox’s much requested ‘Dark & Long’ interpretation as a free download. Enjoy.9 min

▲ Bio
An Argentine producer shaped as much by rock as by the dance floor.
Emi Galván's path into electronic music started behind a guitar, fronting a rock band before Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk and Groove Armada pulled him toward production. That dual background still shows: his records favor songwriting and texture over pure functionality. His catalog runs through SUDBEAT, The Soundgarden, Balance and Anjunadeep, alongside remixes for Massive Attack's "Girl I Love You" and Underworld's "Dark & Long."
Three of his productions, "Frequency Shift," "I Want to Believe" and "Supernova," have reached number one on Beatport. He has played across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, including a set at Ultra Music Festival Buenos Aires.
