Emily Burns is a graphic designer, painter and professor who founded Maake magazine, a high-quality, limited-run publication showcasing the work of emerging artists. Emily and Maake are visible in art hubs such as New York City but she's based in State College, where she'll soon be opening an artist space called Maake Projects. Emily discusses making money while maintaining artistic credibility and gives design advice to non-artist entrepreneurs.
