The first episode of Backstage With... featuring Emma Hatton who's currently playing the lead in Evita in the West End.

Emma has previously starred as Elphaba in the London production of Wicked, as well as in We Will Rock You and Dreamboats and Petticoats.

Emma talks candidly about the often bizarre audition process so many performers go through as well as what happens when you're called to the stage to take over halfway through a performance.

 

Evita closes at the Phoenix Theatre on Saturday, October 14. The production will go back on tour in the UK and internationally from December 2017.
