Topic: THE WISDOM BANK (Part 2)

6. ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7. Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8. Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

INSPIRATION: The ability to have a water tight plan is not for the fainthearted. It is what separates those on a mission from those missing in action. Knowledge equips you to plan properly by weighing all the variables, but many scorn true knowledge to their own destruction. Visions and goals dictate our plans. The ant provides itself food in the summer but the plan is rolled out during harvest.

It's sad when you can't tell your harvest from your seed. But worse when you mismanage your harvest! This is the bane of many today, and it's the reason many are not great yet. Hence, Proverbs say, "Go to the ant and learn how to coordinate and  organise yourself!" In other words, there's more wisdom in an ant that you can crush under your feet or with insecticides than in you with all the education and the Holy Spirit within you! There's no worse indictment than this!

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭Imagine you seeking counsel over areas you're living beneath your privileges and all you're told is to go to the ant to learn! Your emotions should challenge your feelings.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please give me the wisdom to differentiate my seed from my harvest and grant that I do not waste my harvest. I refuse to despise knowledge or scorn wise counsel henceforth, in Jesus name, Amen.

INSPIRATION: In a world where everyone talks as if they're the wisest but act the opposite, Proverbs compels us to go to the ant and learn wisdom. Wisdom screams so loud in the streets, but unfortunately those it is meant for are too busy to pay attention (Prov. 1: 20 - 22). You'd know a wise or foolish person by the quality of the things they say or the content of their character. Their choices are prioritised to reflect their valurs and the measure of wisdom they possess or the lack thereof.

Proverbs 6: 6 - 8 challenges the folly of indolence. It speaks to how ants govern themselves, plan their activities and are wise enough to store up food for the rainy day. Joseph instructs Pharaoh on storing excess in the season of abundance against the season of lack (Gen. 41: 33-36; 47-49). Today, we hear so much about being an independent woman or man, but the major ingredients of self governance doesn't exist. Such contradictions!

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭If you were to take a masterclass from the ant, what important lessons might you want to pick up?

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please give me the wisdom that self-governs and regulates my choices into making very profitable decisions. Help me to set the right priorities and delay gratification to enable me achieve worthwhile goals, in Jesus name.

Topic: TAKE THE INITIATIVES (Part 2)!

4. ‭‭‭‭‭‭He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

INSPIRATION: Sometimes, some people want to get all the clarity before they set sail. Whilst it's okay to so do, it is often not always in all instances that they're right or they ever get to do anything thereafter. Certain level of details would never be at your disposal until you've acted on your conviction. Some people complain of never getting recognised or given a raise at work but their appraisals show they've been docile and uninspiringly worthless to the team.

If you're proven like Jesus did to Philip, do you know what to do? Do you have a mind of your own that can process thoughts on its own and provide leadership at a larger scale or you're one who can't see beyond your nose or act right without being instructed? Do you have a problem-solving skill that gets activated when problems spring up or are you intuitively proactive enough to foresee and forestall one? Can you maximise opportunities that others can't see or take?

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭Responsible people get things done and take responsibility for their decisions and actions. The opposite is true for people who can't take initiatives.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me see the bigger picture and take the right action in every situation. Help me to increase my problem-solving skills so I can remain an invaluable asset all the time, in Jesus name.

Topic: TAKE THE INITIATIVE!

4. ‭‭‭‭‭‭He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

INSPIRATION: Never has life been a bed of roses or great victories won on a platter. It takes strong determination, skillful manoeuvres and an unshakable audacity to take the right initiatives that sway the pendulum in one's favour. It is irritating to see someone with a clearcut assignment who wastes their time procrastinating. They often fail to realise the wisdom in Zig Ziglar's advice, "If you wait until all the lights are 'green' before you leave home, you'll never get started on your trip to the top.” 

You'll never know how many opportunities that slipped by or you've missed to hit several goldmines for delaying; you'll never know how many more destinies attached to yours that would suffer the very grave consequences of your negligence to take initiative. Square up your shoulders, brace yourself for it. You're well suited for this at this time. Don't let another great moment slip by. Go with a strike force precision and hit the home run. The moment is yours. Seize it and make it count!

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭A divine moment not seized and effectively used is an elongation of a season that you've outgrown. Think about it, please.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me not to waste my divine and destiny-changing  moments any more. The grace to take the right initiatives is released upon me afresh to do exploits and conquer territories, in Jesus name.

Topic: THE SPIRIT OF UNWAVERING COURAGE (Part 2)!

9. ‭‭‭‭Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

INSPIRATION: Courage gives you an unwavering audacity that resonates deep within you, knowing you can do all things through Christ's strength (Phi. 4: 13). It is like the surging pump of adrenaline in your veins that defy any opposition. It motivates you to try again irrespective of the number of times you've failed at same thing. That is, courage doesn't give up easily. In a world bereft of resilience, it is courage you need to fight through to your victory.

But for courage, what would make an 80yrs old Caleb demand to be given the mountain (Josh. 14: 12), or to say, "‭‭Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it" (Num. ‭13:30‬)? This year holds very beautiful promises but it didn't promise to be easy or rosy. It would take great courage to be stable as you take a fighting chance at life. Courage makes you go for what's yours without looking back. It would take courage to see what others can't.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭Courage is a product of power and sound mind. Where courage is lacking, check the level of power and the soundness of your mind.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please give me the audacity to take on life with a dogged determination. Give me the courage that defies fear but emboldens me to deal squarely with the giants and mountains in my path until I win, in Jesus name.

Topic: BE COURAGEOUS!

9. ‭‭‭‭Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

INSPIRATION: Courage is not the absence of fear, but the will to take the right action in spite of your fears. I know many of us started the year with fear due to unfulfilled expectations of last year. As such, the will to try same or other ventures this year has been lost. Loses have a way of creating doubts that increase our fears. Yet, God says to tell you, "Be of good courage." Good courage drains fear of its energy and surges you with vitality.

One of the best assurances and courage boosters we have is that God is with us wherever we go. Being conscious of this can make you take on your mountains until they become plain; it helps you face your battles squarely. Courage sees no threat or obstacles; it runs towards challenges and literally eats them for breakfast. Courage scouts for problems to conquer. God tells Joshua three times in chapter one to be courageous for the task ahead. Same word applies to you ahead of 2026.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭There mountains to surmount and valleys to fill up. Courage is the tool. Take it along!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please give courage daily to take on the affairs of life. Teach me to know You're with me, and nothing can withstand me when you're for me, in Jesus name.

Topic: WORK YOUR GIFTS (Part 2)!

2. ‭‭See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:
3. And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

INSPIRATION: No gift works itself, neither is excellence a gift but a spirit. No matter how highly gifted you are, if you do nothing with it, you'd soon become redundant. Excellence is a product of consistent and persistent labour. The more you repeat an action, the more mastery you gain with and from it. Except Bezaleel had gone to work with his gifts, all the wisdom, knowledge and understanding that God filled him with would have come to waste!

Grace does not cancel the dignity of hard work. Rather, grace makes you work smart, creates more opportunities and puts you and your products in the hearts of men for continuous patronage. If you hide under the guise of grace to be lazy, you're not following the example of Christ, who said, ‭‭“My Father never stops working, and so I work too" (John‬ ‭5:17‬). Zerubbabel went to work with his hand and was sold out to it until completion. Get to work already!

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭This is not a feel good motivation but your marching orders for the year! Work calls!! Will you answer or decline?

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to work my gift with great diligence and utmost dedication. May I not despise the place of hardwork and thereby frustrate Your grace upon my life. Guide me to do right always, in Jesus name.

Topic: WORK YOUR GIFTS!

INSPIRATION: Exodus 31 opens us to God introducing Bezaleel to Moses and telling him all that Bezaleel was billed to do (Exo. 31: 1- 6). A few things we can learn from Bezaleel: God never calls us to create something for His glory without giving us the skills and insights; every calling of God has a significant purpose for displaying His glory and sovereign will; we don't have to understand God's reasons for how He creates, we only need to align.

Aligning to God's plan is required if we must fulfil our assignments. You've been called to carry out specific tasks to a logical end. Yet, it's not enough to recite, "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it," and inserting your name in place of his. Responsible actions must back our skills, calling and anointing. The anointing will not do your job; skills not put to effective use will frustrate you. Bezaleel went to work according to the patterns given to him. That's how he was able to finish well.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭Your gifts will not work itself into finished products unless you wisely and skilfully deploy them. Don't be idle and wasteful

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I thank You for Your hands upon me and for the gifts You've endowed me with. I receive the wisdom and enablement to work these gifts to produce results to Your glory. Help to use these to do Your bidding, in Jesus name.

Topic: PAY METICULOUS ATTENTION (Part 2)!

Bible Text: Matthew‬ ‭13:24‭-‬25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

24. ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25. But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

INSPIRATION: This year, pay attention to your personal development. The amount of energy expended in finding fault with others and engaging in unprofitable social media gossip should be rechanneled to useful self-developing skills. Take courses, reduce the effects of your weak links and enhance your efficiency. Paul warns us to examine ourselves. Carry out honest personal appraisals and self assessment tests. Pay attention to your personal brand, public aura and how you're perceived.

Failure to pay attention where required, your good seed could give off premium pain as harvest. Many people are not doing well today because they went to sleep when vigilance was the most needed thing to do. Don't be careless with your expected harvest. Refuse to normalise or reinforce having tares compete freely with your bloom and thus stifling your harvest. Keep a 360° vigilance. Disallow tendencies that drain you. Contend for your seed but more importantly, be concerned about your harvest!

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭The enemy is strategic in his plan to destroy your source. Guard your area of strength; work on strengthening your weak links; take delivery of a superior strategy. Unleash! Be purposeful; be visionary; be creative; be alive to your goals!!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, give me the grace to be alive and conscious to happenings in my environment. Not on my watch will the enemy succeed with destroying processes to my great harvest. Every blessing You gave me is preserved from the devourer, in Jesus name.

Topic: PAY METICULOUS ATTENTION!

24. ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25. But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

INSPIRATION: I feel a strong leading to alert us to the need to pay more attention to details this year than we've ever done. Be meticulous in your scrutiny. Do not take everything at surface level otherwise very serious unmitigated damages might occur unnoticed. Plant a good seed but watchout for saboteurs who creep in at odd time to sow tares. Do not lose your investment to chance or blind trust. Are we building a culture of mistrust with this? Never. But wisdom is profitable to direct (Eccl. 10:10).

Guard your heart; protect your territory. Be more devoted to your businesses, career, investments and relationships. It is sad to see people give more attention to things that add no value to their lives than they do to the things that matter most to them. Give no place to the devil to do you dirty. Water your seed but get rid of tares that pose a threat to your harvest. Mount your guard with full attention. What you don't pay early attention to may never blossom into a fruitful enterprise.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭‭Take Paul's counsel seriously, "Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise" (Ephesians‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive the wisdom and grace to pay proper and detailed attention to everything I do. I refuse to be wasteful with my opportunities and investments. I'll guard my territory against external invasion and internal implosion until my fruits are due for harvest, in Jesus name.
