Topic: A NEW KIND OF GOVERNANCE!

Memory Verse: ‭‭"‭‭‭‭‭‭Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel" - Isaiah‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Bible Text: Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

6. ‭‭For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

INSPIRATION: Everything about Jesus was phenomena, from His conception to birth,  and then lifestyle. His, was a disruptive mission to change existing patterns, norms and traditions. Jesus says of Himself, "‭‭For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law" (Matt. ‭10:35‬). Nothing about Him, not even His teachings, followed the norm.

Being different stands you out. Conformity dwarfs the uniqueness that your difference could have made. Dare to be different. Isaiah tells us, "...and the government shall be upon his shoulder," affirming His Lordship and a future time when He will reign over a literal, earthly, geopolitical kingdom that encompasses all the kingdoms and governments of the world (Dan. 2:44; Zech. 14:9). The phrase also bears responsibility and power.

When you compare Jesus's leadership style with our contemporary leaders, you'd see the huge difference in their responsibility matrix. A leader who is not responsible and responsive is unfit to be called one. Jesus came to model a new kind of leadership responsibility and accountability that we must adapt if we seek to stand out.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

Following Christ affects all aspects of our lives. We must 'drink' in the Spirit of the life He modelled and pattern ours after His in all ramifications.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to follow after the patterns and models that typified the life of Christ, in Jesus name.

Topic: CREATE WITH YOUR NEW SEASONS!

Memory Verse: "‭‭Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place" - Job 38:12 KJV

Bible Text: Genesis 1: 1 KJV

1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

INSPIRATION: The law of first mention establishes that the first time a word or phrase appears in Scripture is important. The first mention often establishes a precedent, pattern, or biblical concept that occurs throughout the rest of the Bible. Drawing a cue from this, we seek to look at what God did in the beginning and what is expected of us subsequently. Scriptures point us to the creation story and suggests that God created the heaven and the earth in the beginning. It gives us an idea what we ought to be doing whenever new beginnings or new seasons set in on us: create!

Make no mistakes about this, not all new seasons come with ease and fanfare; some come with pain, disaster and destabilisation. They throw you off balance and establish a new order for you. God doesn't teach you to resign to fate and do nothing about it. On the contrary, He expects you to create new experiences with it. In this wise, the stones thrown at you becomes your foundational building stones. He expects you to convert your lemons into lemonade. Job asks, 'Have you commanded your morning and caused your new day to know its place?" If you haven't, here's a reminder - transition into something new and glorious!

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭‭Pain, losses, unpleasant outcomes, like every other emotion, is not permanent. Do not accord a permanent residence status to a walk through visitor. Create a new and empowering experience from your new season, whether it started pleasantly or not.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive grace to reorder my priorities, create new uplifting experiences from my pitfalls and setbacks. I refuse to stay knocked down or empower pain to reign in my parade. I'm a creator and my end is glorious, in Jesus name.

Topic: THE POWER OF ACCESS (Part 4)!

Bible Text: Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

INSPIRATION: As we take on another instalment in this series, it is important to stress the point that an open door is bigger and more beneficial than money. Money may have its limitations but an access is limitless. Many people who chose the seemingly immediate advantage of cash inflow over an access lived to regret their choices. They only asked for fish to eat rather than ask how to catch a fish.

Choosing the advantage of money over acces is like choosing a set of harvested crops during famine over an entire farm when you could own large acres of cultivated farms. If it were possible to weigh money and access on a scale, you'd realise there's no basis for comparison. It is like comparing sand to gold, where sand is money and gold is access. That was how Lot chose wrongly and almost got ruined (Gen. 13: 10 - 11).

To base your decisions on the promptings of your five senses only, is a sure recipe for disaster. You'll only be shortchanging yourself. Access will give you ladders and bridges to leverage on. It connects you to multiple levels of operational opportunities and multidimensional interconnectivity that leaves you with many options to choose from.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

Place premium value on access if you want to go farther in life. Don't be blinded by your quest to make it soonest that it forces you to despise the unlimited treasures you could find in an access.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please give me the presence of mind and right attitude to appreciate and leverage on each divine access You bring me into. Help me not to despise or disdain my opportunities, in Jesus name.

Topic: POWER OF ACCESS: CULTIVATING OPPORTUNITIES (Part 3)!

Bible Text: Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

INSPIRATION: An access could be a small, seemingly insignificant doorway but it opens you up to a vast array of different opportunities. If you despise the seemingly insignificant small opening, you'll shut the door to the glories that await you in the future. Small beginnings doesn't always imply small destinies. Some are litmus tests to prove you. God would never commit great enterprises to untested and unproven people.

Cultivate every access you have, whether in human form or in opportunities. Water and service your accesses so they can bloom and blossom into something great. If you do not appreciate the gifts of men, the graces they bear may never work to advance your cause. Virtue flows only in the direction of value. If your value rating for your access is poor, the opportunities from them that ought to benefit you might appear like a burden.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

Shallow minded people think only of the immediate and so, may despise access, especially, if it doesn't appear so promising. That's how people trade off their destinies for peripheral gains.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please give me the presence of mind and right attitude to appreciate and leverage on each divine access You bring me into. Help me not to despise or disdain my opportunities, in Jesus name.

Topic: THE POWER OF ACCESS: PURPOSE & ASSIGNMENT (Part 2)!

Bible Text: Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

INSPIRATION: Whenever you gain access, especially, to someone noble and way above your means, these two questions should be at the forefront of your mind: firstly, to what purpose? And secondly, what's my assignment with this person or opportunity? Until you get clarity about these, you must approach with caution before you ruin a divine moment. Purpose supercedes all things. Purpose determines access and exposes you to God's intent.

Doors do not just open, they open so that purposes can be established. Where purpose is unknown, you can't be too sure not to scuttle the plan or misbehave before greatness. The second question is, what is my mission or assignment for this open door? Every purpose is accompanied by an assignment. We should be more particular about discharging our assignments than in anything else. Else, we would have wasted golden opportunities.

Divine resources flow towards those who embark on the mission to fulfilling their assignments. God deploys resources for the assignment so He can get the glory out of your obedient action. It is therefore a misplacement of priorities if your intent for gaining access is different from any of the aforementioned. Therefore, when next you gain access, allow these two questions to be probing at your heart before you act.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

Purpose is at the heartbeat of God when He gives us access. The pursuit of your assignment is the vehicle by which purpose is actualised. You cannot separate one from the other or reorder its sequence.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive grace to chase after Your purposes and my assignment for every door you open unto me. I refuse to compromise or trade off these eternal values in pursuit of personal gains, in Jesus name.

Topic: THE POWER OF ACCESS!

Bible Text: Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

INSPIRATION: One of the greatest, yet most unfortunate misconceptions about access, is the desire to equate it with instant gratification or financial gains. Access basically expands your horizon and broadens your chances to leverage on the strengths, connections and power of those who gave you the access. Access opens you up to a new experience in learning to be better. But if you put self gratification and financial gains ahead of the several other opportunities, then, you're unwise.

Access may appear small, but it opens into a vast array of different options to leverage on that you could never have thought possible. What you gain with access far exceeds any amount of money you may want to place in comparison. If you're patient enough to walk the process, you'll still arrive at the financial gains but, you'll do so with the bigger picture in view. The bigger picture is the reason for access.

Short sightedness robs people of this and force them to focus on the immediate. The bigger picture can never be arrived at by your permutations. It is a destination that one arrives at through a process whose duration isn't always yours to determine. But the sure thing is, this destination only opens up through the access providence brings your way.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

A fool and undiscerning person despises access because he thinks he's had enough doors. Access has been defined as a way or means of approaching or entering; an entrance; a passage. It is the right or ability of approaching, entering or admittance into something. Therefore, value your access.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to rightly discern and maximise the gifts of access. Give me wisdom and clarity to know how to apply myself in peculiar situations so that I do not become an hindrance to your purposes for my life, in Jesus name.

Topic: IT IS YOUR TIME (Part 5)!

Bible Text: Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

1. ‭‭To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

INSPIRATION: I thought the rendition of Psalm 126: 1 was profound: "‭‭When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, We were like them that dream." It's time for you to experience turnarounds that would make you think you're dreaming. It's time to see dreams come true, and you living in the reality of many of your fantasies. It's time to rise to a new level of empowering ways of dealing with issues.

God has arisen in His mercy and activated graces on your behalf to bring you into the fullness of all He has ordained for you and apportioned to your lot. Your end will be so glorious, it'd have swallowed up all your past disgraces. That's why Ecclesiastes 3: 1 tells us, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." You've entered into that season of your life where the old order of negative occurences has ceased.

You may have become so accustomed to such ways and may look forward to signs that trigger or signal its reoccurrence, but you'd find none. Everything is changing at the instance of God. You're stepping out in power and glory, and the new you will have no semblance of your past experiences. It's time because God had it purposed and well planned out.

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭I don't know how but someone will end this year debt-free and would experience many more surprises. It's your time! Brace up!!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for turning my story around. I take You at Your word and believe it's my time to see You work wonders on my behalf. Do Your bidding, Lord, and bring me into this new and refreshing season of my life, in Jesus name.

1. ‭‭To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

INSPIRATION: It is time to step into all of God's prepared blessings, to aggregate all God has in store for you. It's time to begin to lead a life of victory, triumphing over all the powers of the enemy. It's time to look obstacles in the face and declare, "Get behind me Satan." It's time to take on your new assignment confered on you by virtue of your understanding of your relationship with God. It's time to start living like the Prince you are.

There's so much resources and power at your disposal for you to live below your means. It's time to knock the devil off and knock him out of your life. The rains are gathering, the clouds are heavy. It's time for the rain and reign of God's glory. It doesn't matter how many times you've heard and believed a word like this but never saw your expectations. I make bold to declare your expectations will not be cut short this time around.

God is overturning situations in your favour. You may have lost everything and woken up this morning not knowing where your life is headed but I make bold to say, it's your time to dance for joy because your change has come. Joy comes in the morning, the bible tells us. Your night time is over. Morning is here. Yes, it's time to arise to a new level. Hallelujah! Glory to God!!

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭A new season may not come abruptly but it would come nonetheless when its time is due. When it is your time, everything turns in your favour. It is about that time; it is your time!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I'm sensitive to divine timing, and I understand I'm in such a time. Things are changing favourably for me, Your blessings abound towards me and I have unlimited access to explore a new world order in Your peace, in Jesus name.

Topic: IT IS YOUR TIME (Part 3)!

Bible Text: Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

1. ‭‭To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

INSPIRATION: It is time for you to quit small dreams and start exploring and expanding your horizon. God told Abraham, "As far as your eyes can see, I've given unto you" (Gen. 13: 14-15). This promise was not limited to Abraham alone. There's no end to what you could possibly become when you quit small thoughts and self-defeatist ideas that deflate your self-worth. You're not what happened to you; you're simply a product of what you make out of what happened to you. It's time to quit living in the shadows of your past or someone else.

It's time to throw your weight into the ring; the arena is big enough to accept you. It's time to quit living on wishes that you don't ever translate into tangible and meaningful reality. It's time to surround yourself with the right people that would challenge and motivate you to greater productivity. Stop celebrating activities that doesn't equate value. You can only exchange value, and not activities for money. It's time to put on your thinking cap. You can't operate at this same level you did this year in the coming year except you just merely want to exist but not living. It's time to scale up on all ramifications of your life. Yes! Scale up!!

TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

‭Learning new profitable things should be your drive. It's time to reorganise your life with a business-like determination to take back your life and redirect it in the right direction. Get up and get to work right now!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me to increase in understanding of the times I'm in. Stir up within me the passion for more. I will no longer talk down on myself or be narrow-minded. My mind is renewed to think and act big as you inspire and give me the grace to so do, in Jesus name.
