Episode #26 discusses our journey to listen and learn from our African American brothers and sisters in the wake of tragedy. While we pray for racial reconciliation in our country we are stepping into intentional repentance, a reminder of God's justice and righteousness and call for God's people to desire the same.

The Christians in this chapter encourage us to follow their example: fast, pray and listen for the Lord to speak. As we let this Biblical truth wash over us we're reminded that God has forgiven us not only from sin but from every sin. Let's live in this freedom!

Growing pains = growth. While the church is being hunted and harmed the Gospel is spreading all over the world. Cultural barriers are being torn down and we see that the Holy Spirit not only lives within us for sanctification but also comes upon us for empowerment.

What happened in Acts 6 has forever changed the Church - the role of deacon is created. The Bible teaches us the important role deacons are to have caring for the community. Not long after this persecution against the church breaks out and in the midst of the suffering God is working.

We also unpack the statement "your faith has healed you" which is found throughout the Bible. What happens when we pray but there is no healing? Does that mean I didn't have enough faith?
