A little comeback / resurrection of my dead indiepop radio show to offer you some of the songs that ruled Emmas Housemusic headquarters in 2023. Here’s 30 of our favourite songs of the year in little under two hours of listening entertainment. Featuring artists that were completely new to us this year as well as the latest releases from familiar friends, we hope you’ll enjoy our selection of some noteable 2023 tunes, either by using the embedded player below or on SoundCloud. Take care.

The December 2022 episode of Emmas_Housemusic brings my indiepop radio show as a regular series of monthly listeners-digest-features to an end, at least for now. I know, it’s never say never, so I won’t, but for the time being, there will be no further episodes. I’m not sure what Mixcloud is going to do with the uploaded shows if you don’t go Pro, which under the circumstances made no sense to me. The complete archive of the shows will, however, be available on this website as I do not intend to shut the site down or delete any of the existing episodes. As far as goodbyes go, I’ll let the show speak for itself and will just add my heartfelt thanks to all of you. Take care.

The penultimate episode of our modest indiepop radio show for the year 2022 is here. Featured new releases from the month of November include the latest and brilliant songs by The Primitives, Hadda Be, The Shop Window, The Very Most, and more. Our favourite tracks from way back for this episode come from ex-Orange Juice members James Kirk and Edwyn Collins. Enjoy some new music!
