This year, our preaching has focused on Christian’s theological commitments and some of the teachings of Jesus. The rest of the story of the Christian experience - the real life living out of the Christian faith - usually also includes seasons of real struggle. In this sermon we’ll enter the struggle that often rages on the shadow side of faith.  This series will point us to ancient prayers that will help you today.

No one like to be told, “No.”  We want it our way.  But Jesus calls all who will follow him to deny themselves.  And in this counterintuitive act of surrender, we find freedom.
