Christians have in all times and all places confessed that God alone is worthy of our trust, and worthy of our praise.  This shapes the way we speak about him.

But does it shape the way we speak to him?  

Do we pray with confidence that God alone hears and God alone answers in accordance with his sovereign power and divine goodness? 

What would such prayer sound like?  How should we pray?

We return this week to our series through the Gospel of Matthew, and in particular as we come to chapter 6 and the Lord's Prayer this morning, Jesus has answers!
