In this episode I have on Oakland based Psychologist with 15 years experience, Dr. Beth Gadomski. We speak on a variety of topics circling around emotional awareness, openness to perspectives and differences, toxic relationships, what it means to be authentic and the importance of communication and honesty. Beth is a wonderfully positive professional who is deeply introspective and promotes the same to those who want to grow and heal. Balancing as she terms "Self-Regulation" and "Co-Regulation" is so hard in todays go-go-go culture, we speak on strategies to find that balance and lean on others as well as ourselves. It is also an important conversation because she speaks on subcultural communities and how important it is to find out who we are and surround ourselves with those who value us as humans. The importance of putting yourself in someone else's shoes is becoming more and more evident in current society, and Beth brings amazing insight into how we can implement that into our lives.
