It was also reported that not all cases resulted in disclosure, charges, or convictions, indicating that the problem with sexual abuse may be more predominant than federal statistics provided information on.

The most recent data from National Alliance on Mental Illness from 2021 state 57.8 million adults experienced mental illness within that given year, this is about 22.8% of all US adults. And 19.1 suffer from Anxiety which is about 40 million adults suffering from anxiety.  With young adults being 50% more prone to anxiety than adults.

This poem is titled “Addiction”, for many years, I worked with clients who struggled with different types of addictions and mental health. These clients have my respect because I seen firsthand their struggles. And I wrote these words of hope for those who have struggled or are still struggling from this disease called addiction. There is hope! God bless
