The Empower Women's Day in 2024 will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 9:00am.

We invite all female members, non-members and family to attend, bringing together our community of strong, independent women to empower and encourage one another.

It's been an incredible 12-months for Drew Vincent inside and outside the walls of Empower.

Across the weekend of February 4-6, Vincent finished as the 'assist' in the Brimbank Park Ultramarathon event - 26 hours, 10 minutes in temperatures of 35 degrees.

The final interview. Drew Vincent is taken back to the Maribyrnong River to recap an incredible 24-hour journey across Friday, March 31, and Saturday, April 1 where he ran 147km.

In the lead-up to the 2023 International Women's Day (March 8) and the Empower Gym's first-ever Women's Day (March 25), this is a celebration of all things these women have worked through, and experienced to get to this point in their lives. 

From self-doubt and insecurities to feeling comfortable in their skin and beaming pride at achieving their personal goals along the journey. 

Running a business, having a work-life balance, being a mentor, feeling part of a community is all part of this very special edition. 

Drew Vincent is embarking on a 24-hour Maribyrnong River Run on April 1. Following on from the Murph8 Challenge. Drew was inspired by Jimmy McArthur and wants to continue laying the foundations and platforms for men to open up, be vulnerable, and have heartfelt discussions that he (and many other men) have spent much of their lives shying away from.
