Today, my guest is Dana Humphrey. Dana talks about a subject near and dear to my heart as the host of this show - self-care.
Dana is a Life Coach & Death Doula. Most people understand that self-care is essential for staying physically and mentally healthy. However, for many people, learning to practice self-care regularly can be a process that can feel challenging. Whether you work full-time, are a stay-at-home mom, a caregiver for an elderly parent, or a healthcare employee working long hours during the pandemic, finding the time to nourish your mind, body, and soul must be prioritized.
It's important to remember that self-care is not about being selfish. It is about replenishing and refreshing your spirit in different ways. 'You can't pour from an empty cup' is a famous saying that holds so much truth.
Life Coach, Dana Humphrey, is sharing quick and practical tips on how to practice self-care to become the very best version of yourself!
We talked about things that she knows are essential to the journey. One of these is getting out into nature. Second, we must set boundaries. Number three is to Take action! Number four is own your power. Every storm brings a fresh, new beginning. There will always be hurdles and struggles in life. We are constantly facing something, and because of this, it may feel like we lose our power during the extra tough times. Self-care is how you take your power back! It's crucial to not forget about yourself along the way. Stay strong and diligent in taking care of YOU to weather every storm! Number five is to count your blessings. A grateful heart attracts more joy, love, and prosperity. The power of gratitude helps us express thankfulness and appreciation, which impacts the overall experience of happiness.
