Kellee and I have a great conversation about the work she's done helping others throughout her career and our experience working together at a residential treatment center. We have a common passion for trauma-informed care and trauma-informed leadership!
Besides being a great friend and leader, Kellee Walker’s work with trauma survivors has been the focus of much of her career both overseas and in the United States.
Kellee passion as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor is to use her skills to help children who have experienced complex trauma heal and have better lifetime outcomes. Kellee joined the Arrow team in 2009. At Arrow, Kellee has served in a variety of roles including working directly with children in foster care and residential treatment and leading Arrow’s quality improvement efforts as the National Director of Continuous Quality Improvement.
Kellee has extensive training including being a TBRI Practitioner and Educator, a Daring Way Facilitator, Phase 1 certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, and a Praesidium Guardian.
Today Kellee serves as Arrow’s Vice President of Clinical Development where she oversees a full continuum of care including clinical aspects of foster care, adoption, residential treatment, behavioral health services, and educational programs.
Kellee is also the proud mom of an 11-year-old vibrant little guy that she had the privilege of adopting after fostering for a year.
