The foundation of motivation is finding your “want to” every day. For many years I came into life with a “have to” mindset and it really bogged me down and left me feeling frustrated. When I had the “ah ha” moment of wanting to be emotionally present every day in my own life, I felt empowered.

Living up to the expectations can steal our joy and set us up for frustration. Freeing yourself by letting go of those expectations, gives you the courage to discover your identity as a parent and teacher.
