Fairness… It's more than just a word… it's a moral? A virtue? A higher motivator, calling, purpose?

It's definitely something I'm trying to teach my kids and daily try to live out in business, heck I would say it is one of the pillars of the "American Dream." BUT… It's also a gross excuse why so many never try, give up so easy, take their ball and go home. If "no" or "mine" is the first words many kids say, I bet, "Thats not Fair" is their first sentence. Why would lack of fairness keep up from every trying to do or achieve the things we want? In sports, teams are not all the same, some players are much better than others but we root for the underdog, we see them set up on the biggest stages and punch much harder than their weight. I mean heck this week marks the 40th anniversary of team USA beating the undefeated, reigning, super hockey team from Russia. At a young age I was told some crazy lies about fairness and effort that I am so thankful I don't still believe. I hope todays EP calls you to higher dreams and stronger efforts….
