  • Transform Your Imposters Into Superpowers

In this episode, Ulrike and her guest Lisa Haisha, a life coach with an MA in Spiritual Psychology, go deeper into depicting the imposter syndrome and how you can turn it into your superpower.

Imposter syndrome is the inability to believe that we deserve that success or that our success has been legitimately achieved as a result of our skills. Most of the time our imposter thoughts are acting in the background without us realizing what is going on. As long as we are not clear about what thoughts run through our heads, our imposters can quietly distract us from ambitious challenges, although we would be very well able to master them.

To break out of these inner limitations, we must first understand our imposters and then allow ourselves to let go of them, making room for powerful and encouraging thoughts. If you want to learn how to change situations in your favor, and how to turn your imposter thoughts into superpowers, tune in to this episode!

  • Growing In 3 Core Areas To Develop Executive Presence

In this episode, Ulrike and her guest Chloé Oestreich, leadership coach, consultant and speaker, share an impressive number of great tips on how to develop executive presence by acting in three core areas: vocal, physical, and mental.

Effective communication is not just about the message, the words, and the language – rather, it’s about a leader’s executive presence, their inner confidence, mindset and whether they have the ability to inspire and lead through their vision.

Executive presence is created on three different levels:

1 - Vocal: Our voice is over 5x more powerful than the actual words we speak. It is therefore important to become aware of our pace, volume, tonality and pitch.

2 - Physical: Our body language is even 8x more powerful than words. Women often have a tendency to fall into low-status poses. What are the poses you are taking on? Taking high-status poses, in turn, not only helps you to appear more confident it also changes the chemicals in your body and enables you to feel stronger on the inside.

3 - Mental: It is important to be clear about your intent when joining a meeting and to be present in the moment. Are you having this chaotic mind chatter when you enter a room? Then deliberately focus on the other people and start to listen carefully. This helps you not only to be more present but also to switch from an inward focus to an outward focus.

If you want to get a heap of practical tips that you can apply right away to increase your vocal, physical and mental presence, tune in to this episode now!

    About Chloé Oestreich:

  • Thriving In Your Career By Being Your Powerful Self

Join Ulrike and her guest Gina Restani, co-founder of Inside Out Incubator, in this lively discussion about thriving in your career while deploying and enjoying your true, powerful self.

Conventional solutions to including more women in the upper ranks of companies have it wrong — they want to change them rather than the system holding you back.

They’re all about how to increase our skills, play politics, or work with the right mentor to get ahead. Most often, we learn to play the game by their rules, making all kinds of sacrifices along the way, and we get rewarded for it. So we do it again. But this way of working and being comes with a cost.

Who we are and what matters to us most are not invited to the table. We are burned out, dissatisfied, and wondering if it ever gets easier. The more we strive to fit a leadership model that doesn’t represent us, the more stuck and full of self-doubt we feel.

Tune in to this episode if you want to ditch the old playbook and start moving forward on your own terms.
