Change is hard. We can just take a look at our resolutions and know this reality. What if there is something that we are missing that is the key to change? This week, we'll get to the core of change and how to lay the foundation for it in our lives.
What is faith? Why is it that when you talk to five different people, you might get five different answers? Even more important, has the way faith has been defined by church missed the mark? Is there something more to it? Don't miss this week because you will walk away with a workable, memorable definition of faith.
Where does God do His greatest miracles? We may be tempted to throw out locations connected to Israel or maybe even other parts of the world. However, the true answer is much closer to home!
When someone mentions a name, you may get a picture in your head? For example, what comes to mind when you think of Michael Jackson, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King, Jr. or Keanu Reeves? There is just something about a name. Now, what do you think of when you hear the name Jesus? Our response is built upon what we believe about Jesus.
Think back to that moment when you saw your favorite movie of all time. We bet that if you hear the soundtrack from that movie, you are transformed back to that moment. What if we could do that with our faith? Let's go back to those moments in our lives when God showed up big. But, let's dig into it. It is time to move beyond the miracle to meet the God who did it.
For many of us, the selling point of God has been what He can do for us. We become Christians so that we can go to heaven. We give so that we can be blessed. The list goes on and on. But, what do we do when God isn't working out? Maybe it is time to move to something deeper and grander than just what God can do. the key to a deeper and fortifying faith is to move to a point when you worship God not for what He can do but for who He is.
We have a dream of where we would like to end up. Maybe for you, it's a great marriage, career, influence, being a great parent, financially secure, etc. How do we ensure that our dream becomes reality? As we celebrate Easter, we will learn a principle that lead us to precisely where we would like to be.
We all know where we would like to be in life, but what if we get off the path. This week, we explore how to turn things around and stay on the path that leads to where both God and we want us to go.
Have you ever found yourself asking, "How did I end up here?" We all have the best intentions but somehow life gets in the way. How do we get to where we want to go?
"Your mission should you choose to accept it," applies to more than just Mission Impossible. We have all been given a mission by God. That mission opens the door for us to experience life as God originally intended. It's time to step into a life of fulfilling adventure.
