August 06, 2020 The Air I Breathe
If you were to make a list of the things you take for granted, one thing that may not make your list is your very breath. It is something that we don't realize that we have taken for granted until we are in a situation where we can't breathe. How would it change our lives if we recognized and lived as though every breath is a gift from God?

July 31, 2020 What is Prayer?
When you look at the current conditions of America right now, it is very clear that we are need of prayer. But, what if prayer is more than just asking God for our needs? What if it could go deeper than that into a rich relationship with Him?

July 24, 2020 What is Faith?
Faith is a staple word in Christian lingo. It is the foundation of our relationship with God. Our faith serves as the fuel for our fervor in serving God and strength to withstand the setbacks and challenges of life. But, what if we have the wrong or incomplete definition of faith?

July 15, 2020 A Refreshing Look at Love
Love...it is the very basis of Christianity but is it the basis of our lives. How is it possible that people can look at Christians and not see His love embodied in us? This week, we kick off a new series by looking at love. Maybe if we can grasp the love of God for us, we can begin to give it out to others.

July 08, 2020 Lesson Learned
Think back to when Covid-19 started, no one had any idea of the journey that we would be on. Over the course of this challenge, life has taught us some lessons. This week, we take time to reflect on what those lessons have taught us and why we need them in our lives.

July 02, 2020 Conflict and the New Normal
Masks vs. Not wearing masks...black lives matter vs. all lives matter...reopen everything now vs. pacing the reopening...America is seeing a growing divide happening. So, how do we as Christians handle it? Is there a way that we can navigate growing chasm of division while being a voice of healing, renewal, and reconciliation.

June 26, 2020 The Land of Loss
The stores are starting to open back up. We are starting to head back to work. Slowly but surely, everything seems to be going back to normal or is it? How do we deal with life in the face of Covid-19?

This week, we look at loss. Even though everything is trending towards some form of normal, we have all suffered loss at some level. How do we navigate this loss as life seems to fall back into place? Note from Ken: The statue that I mention is actually Matthias Baldwin in Philadelphia.

We have faced some formidable challenges in 2020...eruptions, earthquakes, riots, racial tension, and a pandemic. Did you know that none of it comes as a surprise to God? How do the events strengthen our faith? What should be our response to these overwhelming challenges?

May 21, 2020 The Problem of Pain
How is it possible for God to be a loving God and for there to be evil? Either He can't do anything about it or He doesn't care and won't do anything about it. What if there is something else? If you left Christianity because of pain then, don't miss this Sunday.
