Over a period of 40 days, Christians often use the discipline of fasting to make space for examination and repentance as they reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Each year, our denomination puts together the Lenten Reader to help guide individuals through this practice.

Even when the world seems to be falling apart, the Bible reminds us that God is always with us and we can continue to put our trust in Him.

We had a great time with our panel last week and we hope that you were able to take something away from it too. We look forward to holding more interactive discussions in our community during future.

This Sunday, we are looking forward to have Rev. Peter Blundell return to share God's Word with us. He helped to create the Alpha Course and has experience working as a missionary and church planter.

Have you ever come into situations where you have felt inadequate? Sometimes, we wonder why God brings us into situations that seem far outside of our own abilities. We are sure that God has called the wrong person.

Our theme for this year is "After God's Own Heart". We begin with a new sermon series that explores certain aspects we may have elevated in our lives; but as we begin to examine them through the biblical lens, we may come to find that these things are actually overrated.

"After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.' " - Acts 13:22

As we wrap up the year of 2021, we reflect on all the challenges and joys we have gone through together. In 2022, we want to look at what was written about King David. What did it look like that God would say that he had found "a man after my own heart"? And even though we know that we ought to strive for this as a community - what does that look like for us today?
