Tradition is not a bad thing, in fact, tthe New Testament is the record of the apostolic tradition. But when people and leaders nullify the word of God in order to observe their tradition, then you have traditionalism, which is evil. In this lesson, we come to grips with the prevalent nature of traditionalism, and we discover how to escape its snare.

Semper Reformanda is derived from a Latin phrase meaning, -The church reforming, always reforming.- It is a popular slogan among conservative Protestant evangelicals. The origin of this phrase is unclear, but what is important to whether or not we really mean it. The times are to dire to simply be tossing about slogans and power-phrases. If we really mean to reform, we will consider not only the sufficiency of God's word, but also the sufficiency of the Spirit to empower and make effective the study and preaching of God's word. The written Word of God does not exist apart from the Holy Spirit who inspired it.

What is worse, that the average Christian is not taught to read their Bible well, or preachers who prey on this ignorance by twisting the teaching of Jesus in order to extract tithes and offerings- One leads to another. And Matthew 23-23 is one of the most popular texts used for this purpose. In this lesson, we exposes this practice, and instead, bring forth the truth Jesus is actually teaching in this text. The solution, however, is teaching Christians to do contextual reading of the biblical text, under the guidance of the Spirit of truth.

This is part-two of a brief message exposing Christian Nationalism as heretical and calling the churches to repentance. The Christian community is an eschatological community, meaning it derives its values and priorities from the future age being lived out in the present and not the interests of this present evil age.

The fervor of American nationalism among Christians in recent decades is heresy, and has come about due to the lack of sound teaching in churches. In this brief two part series, we outline the biblical and historic argument against Christian nationalism. This is a call to repentance, and a return to gospel stewardship.

People-pleasing leaders is the main reason why there is so many -versions- of the gospel. When Moses asked why Aaron had allowed the people to sin so greatly as to so create and worship a golden calf, Aaron's response was to blame the people for his lack of leadership. The history of the priesthood which followed wasn't much better, which led Hosea to declare, -Like people, like priest- -Hosea 4-9-.

When Eve chose to believe the serpent, and Adam chose to follow Eve, something fundamental shifted within human nature- the willingness, and thus the ability, to hear and obey God's voice. The depravity within the fallen mind and heart may hear God's truth, but will harden against it, and distort and pervert it. This is why every person must be born anew, by the Spirit.

In this new sub-series, we ask the question- What if much of the theology we accept as mainstream evangelicalism originated in the cunning schemes of men and not the mind of God- And if one's tradition it is not grounded in New Testament truth, does it matter- And if so, how much does it matter- Especially if your your spiritual and mental health are at risk.

How far have we fallen, that Christian leaders offer a mony-back gurantee on giving- -If you give for 90-days, and do not exprience an increase in blessing, we will give your money back.- When will we cease to support such nonsense, and instead, take Jesus seriously when it comes to giving and receiving- Your heavenly Father knows what you need and provides for you, and you do not need gurantees or other forms of manipulation and exploitation.

Do we take Jesus seriously- Do we listen to his teaching, or are we so steeped in religious tradition and practices that we appear to not at all take him and his teaching seriously. If we did, we could not assign worship to a sacred buidling at a certain hour, or do many of the things we take for granted as having his sanction. Are we willing to subject what we do to his teaching- Are we willing to do anything different-
