In this guided Christian Encounter, we'll slow down, quiet our hearts, and spend time listening to the Lord as He reveals truth about His love, His purpose, and the freedom He invites us into.

Throughout this Encounter we'll meditate on Scripture while creating space for the Holy Spirit to speak personally to your heart.

If at any point during this Encounter the Holy Spirit leads you somewhere different than my prompts, follow Him. The goal isn't to follow my voice—it's to encounter His.

When God Says “Move”: A Testimony of Obedience and Perfect Timing

In Day 30 of this journey, I shared how the Lord asked our family to place our home on the market—not immediately, but in early fall. It was an invitation to trust Him with timing, provision, and obedience before we could see the outcome.

Today, I’m sharing the update.

In under30 days, our home was under contract. And in the coming weeks, we’ll be physically moving—just as He said.

This episode is a testimony of God’s faithfulness when we respond with obedience. Not rushed. Not forced. Simply listening, trusting, and saying yes when He asks. God is faithful to complete what He begins, and He honors surrendered steps taken in trust.

If God has asked you to obey Him in something that feels uncertain—this testimony is for you. Let it encourage you to trust His voice, His timing, and His faithfulness over your fear.

On Day 99 of 100 Days Fasting Fear, I open up about a deeply personal journey I’ve been walking through—one I didn’t even realize was keeping me bound. For months, I had a strong resistance to a certain area we were considering moving to. I didn’t like it, didn’t want it, and shut the door in my heart before I ever asked God about it.

But the Lord, in His kindness, began to confront the false beliefs, lies, and trapped emotions that were shaping my “no.” Through community, prayer, and conversation, God started highlighting that my resistance wasn’t about the location at all—it was about what was happening inside of me.

This week, I felt the Holy Spirit invite me to take a drive to that area—not to decide anything, but simply to face what was living in my heart. As I drove, God gently unraveled the lies that had been holding me in fear and showed me the freedom He wanted me to step into. Whether we move there or not, He wanted to heal what was hindering me from receiving His direction with an open, surrendered heart.

Today I share how God used community, honesty, and His love to realign my heart and confront my false beliefs with freedom. If you’re wrestling with resistance, fear of change, or emotions you can’t explain, this episode will speak to you.

God’s love confronts not to shame us, but to free us.

And I’m so grateful He doesn’t leave us stuck.

Today I share something tender that happened while a friend read Scripture to me. I found myself trying too hard to thinkabout what God was saying—stuck in my head, analyzing, instead of simply receiving.

In that moment, Father God gave me an image: He invited me to climb onto His lap while He read the Scripture to me. I could feel His excitement, His love, and His joy in every word. The passage came alive—not just in my mind, but in my heart.

This is my encouragement for you today: when you listen to the Word, invite Holy Spirit to engage your heart imagination. Let Him show you His tone, His expression, His delight as He speaks through Scripture. The Word isn’t just meant to be studied—it’s meant to be experienced.

We’re in the final stretch of this 100-day journey—and today, I’m choosing to recommit and finish strong. There have been pauses, delays, distractions, and moments where it felt easier to quit, but grace is here to begin again. If you have something in your life that was started but never completed, this episode is your invitation to pick it back up—not in shame, but in strength.

Whether it’s a project, a promise you made to yourself, a habit you meant to build, a healing process you stopped tending to, or something God asked you to do but life got in the way—you are not too late. You are not disqualified. You can still finish.
