It was an honor to have Ms Annamarie share some her story and walk us through the story of the fiery furnace. We were challenged to be willing to follow Jesus no matter what.

Does prayer often feel like a one way phone call? It's hard to stay in a conversation if you feel like the other person isn't listening because they aren't responding. Though many of us might feel this way in prayer, the Scriptures tell us over and over that God DOES respond to our prayers and loves to speak directly to us. In the message, we look at some ways God might be speaking and how we can plan on hearing from Him.

Throughout the Gospels, there is only one thing that the disciple directly asked Jesus to teach them. In Luke 11, after witnessing the way Jesus prayed to his Father, they say, "Lord, teach us to pray." As a youth community, we believe God is inviting us to build on prayer.

We all have had disappointing or awkward experiences of prayer. But as we talked about in this message, prayer is really the foundation of any community that seek to follow Jesus. Not only was it primary in Jesus' life, but He prayed himself that we would discover the life of God through prayer. We hope you are encouraged to take a step forward wherever you are at in your journey with prayer!

In this message, Tim shares how Jesus called individual disciples to be a part of a radical community. We read the story of Saul and Ananias and committed to being a community that welcomes everyone into an encounter with Jesus!

Imagine being your own boss and making pretty good money just out of highschool! On the outside, Kephas was doing great in life and even with Jesus: serving at church and youth group, living in a great family. But inwardly? None of it was satisfying him. Eventually his journey came to a place of complete surrender and that's when he discovered that only one thing can truly satisfy our deepest longings.

In this message, Tim shares the foundation of what it means to be a disciple, or "apprentice", of Jesus. A disciple is someone who sees Jesus, who listen to His words, and patterns their life after Him. It's a tall order and completely impossible in our own strength and wisdom. This calling should drive us to prayer and committed community!

Ever wondered why we do what we do? I mean, is it just about 'getting to heaven'? If there's more to it, why should we be faithful and choose the narrow road of holiness? Especially if it could get us killed or at least left out?

For Christians, 'why' is really about 'who'. Our reason for everything we do, from reading our Bibles to serving our neighbors, must be rooted to pursuit of knowing Jesus.
