In the first of our new series - Encounters with Jesus, Grace reflects upon Jesus' meeting with a leper from Mark 1.40-45. In contrast with the norms of the society of the time, Jesus shows compassion to the leper as well as anger towards the systems which dehumanised the vulnerable.
