Today we bgean a new series which looks at the character of God as revealed by scripture. Yong-Geun began the series with a focus on God as creator, with reference to Genesis Chapter 1.

As we welcome welcomes new soldiers into the corps Sam encourages us all to go deeper in our relationship with God today. (With reference to Hosea 10.12)

Lynn reflects on Jesus' flight into Egypt in order to escape persecution and compares this to the journey of those today who are forced to leave their homeland and claim asylum in a new land. With reference to Deuteronomy 10 vs 12-222, Matthew 25 vs 31-36 and Matthew 2 vs 13-23.

Mark completes our advent series this year with a reflection on the visitation of Mary (Luke 1.26-38).

In today's sermon Sam reflected upon Genesis 11. 1-19 and John 1.9-14 and contrasts the grace and hope which the arrival of Jesus signifies to the individuialism and self-centredness espoused by culture of the day.

In the final sermon of this series Lara reflects upon the story of the talents from Matthew 25. 14-24.

In today's sermon Lynn looked at "The Parable of the Workers",(Matt 20. 1-16) which is used to describe the grace and equality offered within God's kingdom.

Samuel continues our series on the ways Jesus describesd the Kingdom of God by looking at the parable of the pearl of great price (Matt. 13. 44-46).

In our final sermon in our series on Prayer Yong-Geun will be looking at the theme of Spiritual warfare with reference to the verse "Deliver us from evil", from the Lord's prayer.
