This is a practice run of a presentation that I need to give tomorrow. Since August 16th I have been part of a leadership and advocacy program that helps me to become a better leader for myself. Tomorrow is our final meeting and this episode will serve as an introduction to who I am what I believe and why I believe it. Being part of and embracing the disability community has been one of the most beautiful and freeing experiences I have ever had

In this episode, I share my journey of embracing my disability. This episode is directed to anybody who considers themselves a caretaker of a person with a disability and or a person with the disability who has not embraced being part of this beautiful community

The final message in the at the movies sermon series

In this episode, I kept on saying that I went to a concert on Monday, when I did not I went to the concert that I'm speaking about on Saturday. You'll see in this episode the events that make this particular outing so significant for me. I've come a long way and I have to say that it is no longer 2014 anymore. The Marie of 2014 would have thought using a wheelchair to get around made her look weak.
