Encouraging Christians

God wants a real relationship with you. Prayer is a real relationship with God. Are you guarding your heart with all diligence not to allow anything in it to hinder that?

Do you worship God as He desires or as you desire? Do you guard your heart and address the wrong in it when it appears? Do you want to be right with God? Do you correct your heart when He tells you something is wrong that needs correction?

Do you internalize the injustice or do you internalize the Biblical response? How do you keep or guard your heart? By your natural response or a supernatural response? Most of us haven’t crossed the bridge yet and genuinely guard or keep our own heart with diligence. So we pass judgment on others.

A real relationship is an open and honest relationship. Prayer Is A Real Relationship With God. That means when He is honest with you, open yourself up to what He says. He is right. He is always right. Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee. We don’t always recognize the enemy at our hearts’ door. Therefore, we resist God, submit to the devil and live with the consequences. Where are you in all of this right now? Where is God? How about your relationship with God? Are you keeping it real?

You are now a pilgrim. You are passing through this world to spend eternity with your Heavenly Father who has an inheritance reserved for you. While you are here you are being kept (guarded militarily) by Him. You are kept by the power of God. You have been born again. You have a living hope. You have a new home-Heaven. God’s power is actively guarding you and I as believers right now, His love for us doesn’t change, His protection of us doesn’t change, what He has prepared for us doesn’t change. God loves you.

For suffering Christians remember: What God has prepared for you is fundamentally different from everything your persecutors can take away from you.

Peter doesn’t begin his letter to these scattered, suffering, persecuted believers focused on sin, suffering, or themselves - he focuses on the Savior. How often do you?

Precious Fruit! What is God doing in you through the suffering you are enduring right now? The precious fruit He is growing in your spirit and soul is of much greater value than the suffering pain you are enduring. Look to the Savior. Trust His process. Trust His plan. He is very empathetic and is tenderly merciful. Have you seen the end of the Lord’s plan in this section of your life? No. Be patient.
