Jesus totally understands that we need rest because He Himself got tired.

The story is told about a farmer who was driving his wagon down a country road when he noticed an old man slowly making his way down the road with a burdensome pack on his back.

We judge people by what we see in their lives, not considering that God isn't finished with them yet.

Every now and then you’ll see that someone is preaching a series of sermons on the nine fruit of the Spirit and how we can grow them in our lives.

I love the verses in the Bible that speak of God’s tender care for us.  One of my favorites is Psalm 68:19: “Praise God our Savior! For each day He carries us in His arms.”

Now, of course, salvation is extremely important, for believing that Christ's death on the cross paid for our sins is what brings us assurance of forgiveness and confidence that we will one day have a home in heaven with Jesus for all eternity.

The truth of the matter is that when my cup overflows, whether that is a good thing or a bad thing all depends on what is in my cup.
