With this is message we begin a study through the book of Philippians. What does God have to say to us? What does He want us to know? What is our response to Him? Let's find out as we go verse by verse, chapter by chapter through the book of Philippians. I'll give you a hint - it's all good, even if it hurts! "Grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." Praise God!!

Jesus said "Blessed are the poor in spirit"

Today we are going to take a look at Matthew chapter 5:1-3.  This is the beginning of what is called the Sermon on the Mount and runs through chapter 7.  We are only going to look at the first 3 verses of chapter 5.  Jesus starts His message by announcing that blessed (happy) are the poor in spirit. Lets see just what He meant.

Today we are going to take a look at Luke 7:1-23.  In these verses we will see Jesus minister to 5 people and change their lives. In doing that we will see Jesus proclaim that He is indeed the Messiah, the Son of God who takes away the sin of the world. God is sovereign in the affairs of mankind. He wove His will into the tapestry of human events never missing a beat or making a mistake. At the right time, in the right place, God brought fourth a Son who is Christ the Lord. The only begotten Son of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Today we look at the Book of Revelation 2:1-7 and what Jesus has to say to the Church at Ephesus. Because, what Jesus says to the Ephesian Church He is also saying to us. Stay a long while with Jesus. Christians need one focus in their lives. That is their relationship with Jesus. What happens when a Christian makes his relationship with Jesus his main focus and purpose in life? Luke chapter 10 will help you understand the power, purpose, and joy that is found in spending time in prayer with Jesus.

What is the way to Salvation?  How do you get from Sinner to Saint?  How do you get to God?  Is there more than one way to Salvation?  Don’t all roads lead to God?  Well, let's take a little trip down the Roman Road to answers those questions.
