From the beginning of time, “the Woman,” symbolizing mankind, has been at war with “the dragon,” symbolizing Satan. We see the conflict in Genesis when the dragon deceives Eve and sin enters the world. We see the battle again at the very end of the Bible in Revelation, Chapter 26, where the woman, representing Israel, gives birth to the Messiah, and the dragon symbolizes Herod whom Satan inspires to try to kill the Messiah once he’s born.
But the story isn’t over. In Chapter 26, we skip ahead in time to the Tribulation period when the woman, symbolizing Israel, is taken to a place of protection from the dragon who then turns his attention to “make war against the rest of her offspring.” But what does that mean? And who is he making war with? Find out on this week’s episode of End Times Conversations—wherever you get your podcasts.
